Greeters
Greeters are often the first people someone meets when they come to church. A smile and a hello can go a long way, especially for a visitor who doesn’t know anyone yet. We want everyone who walks in to feel welcome and known, and we want new people to know where to go.
Greeters arrive between 9:00 and 9:15. Each week we need 5 or 6 people:
- Outside: 1 or 2 people greet folks in the parking lot or on the sidewalk, weather permitting. In the winter, they may greet at the door instead.
- Hallway: 1 or 2 people welcome people inside and point them to the auditorium, restrooms, or coffee.
- Name tag table: 1 or 2 people help people find or make their name tags.
- Coffee table: Welcome people at the coffee and refreshments table and keep stocked.
