Set-Up

Every Sunday, the Set-Up Team gets ThunderRidge High School ready for our church family to worship, spend time together, and hear God’s Word. After the service, we put it all away again. There are several ways to help:

• Equipment transport (1 or 2 people): Move equipment out of storage at 7:45 AM and back again after the service.
• Sound and AV (2 or 3 people): Help set up and tear down the sound and video equipment.
• Communion (2 people): Prepare communion, then clean up and put things away afterward.
• Children’s areas (2 people): Set up and take down the nursery and preschool areas.
• Coffee and fellowship (2 people): Set up the coffee and fellowship areas, then clean up afterward.

Start times range from 7:45 to 8:15 AM depending on the job, and teardown happens right after the 10:00 AM service. You’re welcome to help in more than one area.

Some jobs involve lifting 50 pounds or more, bending, and kneeling, while others are much lighter. Younger men and boys are welcome to serve alongside the adults.

Our heart is simply to serve the Lord and love our CBC family well.
